Our 4th graders recently embarked on an exciting hands-on tech adventure, guided by Ms. Skifton from the GRACE IT Team! With the help of the “Adafruit” Tech Tote, students got their first taste of coding and experienced the magic of creating their own programs.
Through this engaging lesson, students learned how to write and program code that lit up and made sounds on their Chromebooks. But the excitement didn’t stop there! They pushed their coding skills even further, programming their devices to create a digital spinner and play an interactive game—bringing their projects to life with lights and sounds.

This hands-on experience not only introduced students to the world of coding but also sparked their creativity and problem-solving skills. A huge thank you to Ms. Skifton for bringing this incredible opportunity to our classroom. With such enthusiasm and talent, the future of technology is certainly bright with these young coders!
