Our Holy Cross students have been putting their creativity and musical knowledge to work during a fun rhythm composition activity in music class!
Students explored the building blocks of music by creating their own rhythmic patterns, practicing note values, and discovering how different combinations of beats and rests come together to make music. This hands-on activity encouraged students to think creatively while strengthening their understanding of rhythm, timing, and musical notation.
Beyond learning musical concepts, rhythm composition helps students develop important skills such as problem-solving, concentration, and self-expression. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to take what they’ve learned and turn it into something uniquely their own!
At Holy Cross, we love seeing our students explore their creativity and discover new ways to express themselves through music.
