Celebrating the 100th Day of School!

The 100th day of school is a special milestone, and we made sure to celebrate in style! Our day was filled with hands-on activities, problem-solving challenges, and a whole lot of fun centered around the number 100. Here’s a look at some of the exciting things we did:

📚 Read 100th Day Books – We kicked off our celebration by reading books all about the 100th day of school, getting us in the spirit for a day full of learning and creativity!

💪 100 Exercises – From jumping jacks to squats, we got moving with 100 exercises to keep our energy up and our bodies strong!

💰 Making 100 Cents and 100 Dollars – Using coins and bills, students practiced their math skills by finding different ways to make one dollar and one hundred dollars.

🎨 Die Cut Creations – With die-cut “100” numbers, students let their imaginations run wild, turning them into unique works of art.

✏️ Writing 100 Words – We put our writing skills to the test by brainstorming and listing 100 words—an impressive vocabulary challenge!

🎲 Rolling to 100 – We took turns rolling a die and keeping track of our numbers to see how many rolls it would take to reach 100. The magic number? 31 rolls!

🪙 Flipping a Coin 100 Times – We tested our luck and probability skills by flipping a coin 100 times, then tallying up how many times we landed on heads or tails.

🏗️ 100 Building Creations – Using sets of 100 items like Legos, Magna-Tiles, Lincoln Logs, pattern blocks, hashtag blocks, and magnets, students worked together to build amazing structures.

🥤 Cup Stacking with 100 Cups – Precision, balance, and teamwork were key as students stacked and arranged 100 cups into creative designs.

🧩 100-Piece Puzzle – We worked together to complete a puzzle with exactly 100 pieces—a fun and challenging group effort!

📿 100 Bead Necklaces – With patience and concentration, students strung together 100 beads to create their very own colorful necklaces.

📏 Measuring with the 100-Inch Man – Using a 100-inch model, we compared heights and had fun measuring ourselves and objects around the room!

The 100th day of school was not only a celebration but also a reminder of how much we’ve learned, grown, and achieved in these past months. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store!
