Our middle school students recently enjoyed a meaningful and educational field trip that deepened both their faith and their understanding of Church history.
The day began with a visit to Nativity of Our Lord Parish, where students had the incredible opportunity to view a replica of the Shroud of Turin, a centuries-old cloth believed by many to bear the image of Jesus Christ. Even though it was a replica, the experience sparked thoughtful reflection and discussion, helping students connect their classroom learning with a tangible representation of Christian history.
Afterward, the group traveled to St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay to explore the Diocese Museum. There, they learned more about the rich history of our local Church through artifacts, exhibits, and stories that highlighted the growth of Catholic faith in our community. Students were fascinated to see how the history of the Diocese has shaped the Church we are part of today.
It was a day filled with faith, history, and discovery—an experience that encouraged our students to grow in both knowledge and appreciation for the traditions of the Church.
