Our 1st graders have been busy traveling the world—without ever leaving the classroom! 🌍✈️
Through their “Flat Stanley” project, students sent their very own paper friends off to different cities, states, and even across the globe, where family and friends helped document their adventures. From exciting landmarks to everyday moments, each Stanley returned with stories to tell and places to share!
The farthest traveler this year? All the way to Okinawa, Japan! How amazing is that?!
This fun, hands-on project brought reading and writing to life while helping students learn about geography, communication, and the connections that make our world feel a little smaller.
We loved seeing the excitement as each Stanley made it back home! Where will they go next?
