Hello and Welcome to Third Grade! It is my honor to call this class home.  My favorite place to be is in the classroom instructing - helping young minds grow :)  Our class works together, works hard, and just as importantly, has fun!  My goal is to reach all learners by instructing from multiple points-of-view and incorporating whole brain, multi-sensory teaching across all subject areas. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me spending time with my family and friends, being a foodie, cheering on the Packers/Brewers/Badgers, scrapbooking...occasionally, and traveling as much as possible. My husband and I have two children, both who attended Holy Cross and now Notre Dame Academy. Holy Cross and NDA have been our partners, helping raise our family in Jesus' teachings and strengthening faith. I'm very proud of the spiritual growth that is a direct result of faith-filled learning.

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year!

We started out building a STREAM house for our “back to school” piggy friend.  We were challenged to build a house that would be big enough for the pig…but then an even bigger challenge was issued – the “BIG BAD BLOW- DRYER WOLF” was coming!  The house had to withstand his powerful wind.  It was a fun way to start the year and kick start our science brains.

This month’s focus is on using our writing mechanics and expressive words to create thrilling stories.
