Our middle school students participated in a service day at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. The students did a multitude of things anywhere from picking up litter to spreading mulch around the nature center. Although the weather was less than desirable, the students worked very hard through all the wind and rain they encountered and visibly made a difference.

The students were provided refreshments after all of their hard work and it was a rather quiet bus ride home and quiet afternoon for the middle school.

This was a wonderful introduction to begin celebrating and learning about Earth Day a few days early.  It was truly a great experience for our students and an even better way to give back to the community.  God gave us this beautiful land to live on and the students at Holy Cross are going to do their part in keeping it that way.
